Blue Hat Thinking!

This week we looked at Debono's Blue hat.

We made a "How to Catch a Frog Thinking Map! together.

Step 1: Think of ways to catch a frog.
Step 2: Pick one plan and try it.
Step 3: Think about what you did . Did your plan work? Did you catch a frog?

These are some of the ways we thought we might catch a frog!

Can you think of any ways we might be able to catch a frog?

Hickory Dickory Dock!

On Friday we worked together to create this awesome grandfather's clock with climbing animals!
We had lots of fun acting out the extended version of this traditional nursery rhyme!

Amazing Sunflowers!

Check out our fantastic sunflower paintings inspired by Vincent van Gogh on display in the school hall.

Humpty Dumpty

On Fridays we are enjoying reading and acting out nursery rhymes with each other. We like finding and making words that rhyme!
Here is our fantastic wall display we made together to help us act out Humpty Dumpty.

We also had fun using our green thinking hats to come up with possible reasons why Humpty fell.
These are some of our ideas:
Maybe...
* it rained and Humpty slipped.
* Humpty got given a fright and slipped.
* a gust of wind blew Humpty down.
* Humpty was pushed.
* an earthquake shook him off.
* Humpty sneezed and rolled off.
* Humpty wanted to see everyone.

Why do you think Humpty fell?
