Today we really enjoyed reading the story The Gumby Shop by Joy Cowley. We thought that a shop where you could buy extra-ordinary things like cheese from bumble bees and bears with electric hair would be fun to visit! We were word detectives who hunted for rhyming pairs in the story and we practiced using different voices to make the story sound more interesting.
